Oktoberfest festivities goes to the dogs with our 2nd Annual Dachshund Parade at noon in Girdwood Town Center ending at the brewery. Dachshund Meet & Greet begins at 12 and the parade begins at 2. Then\, cheer on the fastest pups at the 1st Annual Dachshund Races starting at 3:30! Registration to race your Dachs HAS BEEN CLOSED. Close out the final hours of GBC Oktoberfest with beer games\, including our 6th Annual Stein Holding Competition\, and free live music from Childish Tycoon starting at 6pm! Happy Oktoberfest everyone\, PROST!

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 19 from 2:00-4:00 Girdwood Brewing Company will host a fundraising event and beer release for the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC).\n\n“Hold My Bear” a crisp\, refreshing Helles Lager brewed with the finest German malts and hops will be released on draft and 4-packs. $1 of every beer & $2 per 4-pack will be donated to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. We are super stoked on this beer!\n\nThe label\, created by Amanda Rose Warren\, is incredibly rad! The original artwork is in our taproom and open to bidding; the bidding will end on 5/19 @4:00pm. Amanda will donate 25% of the original and prints to AWCC.\nThe event is going to be fun and the beer delicious!
