DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 19 from 2:00-4:00 Girdwood Brewing Company will host a fundraising event and beer release for the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC).\n\n“Hold My Bear” a crisp\, refreshing Helles Lager brewed with the finest German malts and hops will be released on draft and 4-packs. $1 of every beer & $2 per 4-pack will be donated to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. We are super stoked on this beer!\n\nThe label\, created by Amanda Rose Warren\, is incredibly rad! The original artwork is in our taproom and open to bidding; the bidding will end on 5/19 @4:00pm. Amanda will donate 25% of the original and prints to AWCC.\nThe event is going to be fun and the beer delicious! We will be giving away numerous door prizes from AWCC\, ARW\, and GBC:\nAWCC-Private Bear Encounters\, Annual Family Passes\, and Tours!\nAmanda Rose Warren -Tenacious Fox art print; Clever Outlook\, Wolf Art Print; Bluebeary Bear Eyes Art Print; and 5 pack stickers!\n\nGirdwood Brewing Company-gift cards\, hats\, shirts\, and stickers!\nAbout AWCC\n\nDiscover the wonders of Alaska’s wildlife up close at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center\, conveniently located just 10 minutes south of Girdwood. This non-profit sanctuary is a hub for wildlife conservation\, education\, research\, and top-tier animal care. Visitors can witness brown bears taking a dip\, moose strutting their stuff\, wood bison roaming\, muskoxen frolicking\, wolves striking poses\, and porcupines climbing\, all against the backdrop of breathtaking mountains\, alpine glaciers\, and the Turnagain Arm.
